Chapter Ten Daniel leaned against the shuttle, watching as Jasmine knelt thirty feet away on the ground, a drill in her hand. He hadn’t planned on spending the day watching Jasmine drill a hole into ice of an unknown planet, but he sure wasn’t going to do it. It was her idea. Though, if they did find water, it’d be a great piece of information to bring back to the president… especially if it contained microorganisms. Jasmine squealed. Daniel rushed over to her. “What is it? Is everything all right?” She moved away to let him see.
