The sound of dripping water echoed in the distance. Keon’s head lolled forward before he blinked his eyes open groggily. His vision was blurry, his mouth dry, and the back of his head throbbed like hell. As his senses sharpened, he realized something terrifying—his arms were pinned to the sides of a cold metal chair. Tight ropes dug into his skin. “What the hell…?” he muttered, voice raspy. He twisted his neck and saw Neon slumped beside him, tied to a chair as well. A few feet away, Katherine sat unconscious, her head drooped to the side, arms and legs bound to her own chair. “Neon.
