I was furious.
Damn that Katherine. She’s the most stubborn woman I’ve ever met, yet somehow, she’s constantly on my mind. It’s like she’s under my skin, and I can’t scratch her out—no matter how hard I try.
She drives me absolutely insane. Always arguing. Always defying me. Talking about getting a job? Seriously? Does she have any idea how dangerous it is for her out there—especially now that she’s tied to me?
Even if it’s just a contract marriage, no one outside this house knows that. And I plan to keep it that way.
