After Nate and Jenny left, Kathy started to clean up the coffee cups and stack them on the tray. Ben reached over and grabbed another donut, but before Gabe could grab one Kathy scolded them: they had had enough. Then, under their protests, she proceeded to break the donuts up and tossed them to the corner of the courtyard where a couple of peacocks were watching anxiously for any leftovers that might make it to them. "I know you don"t like me to feed them this type of food, but a treat once in a while won"t hurt,” Kathy said before Morgan could protest. Morgan shook her head at her friend and smiled at the peacocks, who were enjoying their treat. Kathy was right; occasional treats wouldn"t hurt the beautiful birds, and Morgan made sure that they always had plenty of seed and fresh fruit
