After making the switch, Morgan didn’t dally around. She had no idea how long Gabe would be able to keep Jenny’s attention, and she didn’t want Jenny to catch her in the office. The coffee was a great excuse, but there was no time to be lost in the conversation that would start if Jenny walked back into the office.
Leaving the office, she gave a wave of thanks to Jill, who was now waiting on a customer selecting postcards. When she caught up with Gabe and Jenny, they were finishing their conversation.
