Morgan stared at the waves; her eyes fixated on the location where Cora had disappeared. Gabe sat silently at her side, still holding her hand. It was Misty who broke Morgan"s concentration, giving Morgan a forceful head butt on her chin. Morgan dropped Gabe’s hand as she got a firmer grasp on the kitten in her arms, cuddling her as she looked over to Gabe. "I don"t know what that was all about, but Cora and Misty seemed to have a history,” Morgan said. “Cora acted like she was terrified of my sweet little kitten."
