I have been sitting here since before dawn. My wolf has not let me rest.

My eyes shift from my paws to the sky. I take another deep breath and slowly let it out my muzzle. The sky, it's so beautiful in the morning. I can see the tops of the mountains just enough to make thier shape out against the slight light coming behind them.

ugh. Freedom. It's something I crave. I slowly lay down on the rock. It's a beautiful area. My personal heaven. My rock is stationed above the water. Yet high enough you have to walk from the forest to get on top. I can see the tops of trees and hear the birds wake.

Which reminds me I have to return. I have to go back and take my place at the table. I sigh again just thinking of it.

My father, Alpha Morgan consistently reminds me. The Luna, my mother passed away protecting me when I was just a baby.

It was a surprise attack on the fortress.

I was only a couple days old. My oldest brother Cooper killed the man. He couldn't save our mother. He has a scar on his face from it.

Cooper is a huge man now. The spitting image of a viking. He has a couple inches on our father now. He has blond hair that he braids and multiple tattoos for every kill. We all have blue eyes. The boonde hair is from our mother. He is a very intimidating man now. The Scar he has just makes him look more brutal. It cuts across his cheek bone to his ear. It's a lighter color now he's older. He was 6 at the time. He drove the man into the window and dug his claws into his stomach.

That tragic day he received his wolf through the trauma. Cooper's wolf is mostly non verbal with everyone except me. Sliver adores him. He the only one in the family who understands me without speaking. Cooper is the next in line to be alpha, so him and our future Beta Max are gone training.

Which leaves me and my nerdy middle brother here ?.

He's a kind soul. His nose was always in a book and following father everywhere. After mom's death he was stuck to dad. At first we thought he would grow out of it. Yet he knows more politics and information then anyone. He is dad's wingman along with the beta and gamma. Zach is very valuable to my father as a spy and negotiating. Which is terrible for me.

I can't go for a private run, without being told on.

I growl loud enough to scare some birds away. I close my eyes for a second.

Which reminds me, I better start heading back.

The sun has finally reach between the mountains and dawn is here.

I slowly get up. Shake my fur and start heading down. Very slowly I reach the bottom and take a light drink from the pond.

Alpha Morgan

"Father she is not in her room." Zach says.

"Zach do you know what is wrong with your sister? Since she got her wolf, she has changed." I say.

" Father I honestly don't know. Brynn was never close to me. You will have to ask Cooper. They were always closer."

I deeply sigh. I guess being the only female in the family is difficult. I just don't understand her. She is completely different now. I don't understand how to handle her.

The attitude through the link was enough to irrate me. What was she thinking. It's dangerous outside these walls. I wish my mate Rose was here. I still miss her terribly. Since her death nothing has been the same. The was broken but my heart wont let me rest. I wake up from dreams of holding her.

"Zach meet your sister at the gate."

"I want everyone at breakfast."

" Father I thought you were gonna wait til dinner to let everyone know?"

Zach says with a worried face. He looks just like a smaller version of myself. Yet more innocent.

" Your mate shouldn't have to wait any longer Zach. Your sister will have to be excepting. Cooper will be home in 2 days. I will be slowly stepping down. I know your sister is unpredictable. I'm starting to believe she's a Alpha female."

"But with that being said she has to except Orchid into our home."

Zach's face is filled with worry. His newly found mate was just like him. Yet the female version. She would make the prefect gamma female. Yet his sister tends to chase any female away.

"Father are we going to tell her or bring Orchid here? I feel we should discuss it first and see how she reacts. We still don't have any young maids here, since her wolf scared them away."

Yes he was right. To this day we still have no maids under 40 working in the fortress. Now looking back it's quite funny.

I chuckled a little.

"Zach your sister was protecting her brother from a mistake. You know how her wolf feels about the bond."

Zach stands up suddenly from his desk. I got him one at 18. It sits to my left as Cooper is on my right.

" Father! She chased her through the fortress right out of the gates. Just for trying to sit on cooper's lap." He raises his voice.

I'm quite shocked. He never gets loud with me.

Now I know he cares alot about his mate. Yet this behavior is not acceptable.

I stare him down.

Zach calms down and sits.

"Sorry father, I don't know what came over me." His face is filled with regret.

"Zach. My son. As your Alpha, do not raise your voice to me."

" Yes Alpha."

I take a deep breath.

" As your father, Zach what your experiencing is the strong feeling your mate bond is awakening."

" Once you have mated and bonded with her things will settle. But you need to manage them."

"I will handle your sister"

Zach gets up and bows.

"I will retrieve her."

He leaves the office gracefully.

I leave and head to the dinning area.

"Ah Rose what am I to do with these children."
