Chapter Six Monday morning, Tonia walked through the open door of Lexi’s office. Lexi couldn’t even see her assistant’s face because of the insane bouquet of flowers in her hands. “Lexi, these just arrived for you.” Tonia’s voice pitched high with excitement. “You must have had a great weekend.” She cleared a space on her desk for Tonia to set down the glass vase. “Well, these are pretty.” Lexi knew in her heart who’d sent them.
