Chapter Nine Lexi stared at her computer screen in her office. Something was off. Gregory had just left her office after reviewing the financials from the last fiscal year and then tweaking the budget for this year. There were no surprises in the budget. Since that had been created months ago, it was merely a matter of revising it for additional online marketing she wanted to try, which started the following month: July. And, of course, she kept the line item for a designer. She might revise it if she hired two part-timers instead.
