Chapter Twelve
The past week had been an emotional whirlwind since Derek had bought her a toothbrush for his place. Lexi had been torn between f**k buddies and more. She knew her emotions were very much at risk, and yet she couldn’t stop being with Derek or thinking about him. She looked forward to seeing and hearing from him.
He’d bought her clothes and a nightstand and wanted her to sleep over!
It had been a rollercoaster since last weekend. When she thought about it too hard, her stomach twisted into knots. Then she would talk to him or see him, and the tension vanished.
Having him meet Rachel and Hunter was something she hadn’t done with her other “friends” so this was different but she would go along with it because she trusted him.
