Chapter 8

Eli does not know that Hanna also has a power of air that she got from the fairy when she came to the fantasyland. And that is the reason why the witch can't kill her and she can still talk even though she became a firefly. Eli asked Hanna what else they could do to get his sword back from Enzo.

"Just leave it to me. I will do everything to get it back for you," replied Hanna.

But Eli doesn't want to leave the thing to Hanna, because he knows that he must be the one to do it, because it is his job. But Hanna doesn't want to let Eli do that thing alone. She wants to pay for the kindness that Eli gave to her. So she asked Eli if she could help him get the sword of bravery from Enzo. Eli said yes, and they started to search for Enzo. Hanna suggested that maybe they could fly, because, for her, it is easier to find Enzo if they are in the air above the place, but Eli did not know how to fly. Hanna held Eli's hand, and she opened her other hand and the small, blue transparent stone was shining in her palm. They flew up through the air. They saw everything from above. But Hanna didn't know that Eli was afraid of heights. Eli wanted to go down. He could no longer control himself. He removed the hand of Hanna from his hand.

Hanna was so afraid of what might happen to him, until he totally removed his hand from Hanna's hand, and he fell down on the weeds. Hanna felt so sorry and regretted that she brought Eli above the trees and mountains, so she promised that she would never bring Eli to a high place again, because now she knew that if he fell, the ground was the only one who could catch him. Hanna did not know what to do, because Eli was out of consciousness, so she thought that it was better to wait while he was not awake. She used the power of the air to bring him to the withered leaves of trees where no sunlight struck. She put him on the withered leaves of the trees, and she also sat down. She did nothing but sigh and wait for Eli to wake up. Hanna is thinking that she can't live without Eli, because she loves him so much.

Enzo is still inside the wide cave of Ostrava. He is practicing how to use the sword of bravery. He started to touch the things in the place. He saw some bottles of liquids of different colors. He read the label on the bottles and knew these were potions. He tried to pour some of the liquids on his hand and his hand became bigger. He put some potion from the other one and his hands came back to their real looks. He thinks that the potions were made by a witch named Ostrava when she was living in the cave.

On the other hand, Margaux reached the place where Tarim lives. It is a place where you can see nothing but dry and hard soil. Margaux asked if Tarim was there, but no one answered him, so he walked around the place and saw a huge scorpion that was sleeping on the hard soil. So Margaux wakes him up. Tarim asked Margaux what brought him to his place. Margaux told him his real motives, that he needed his help to kill a man named Eli because he was an impediment to the reigning of darkness. Margaux asked him if what exchange if he killed Eli. Margaux answered that he would give him endless power. Because of the endless power that Margaux mentioned, Tarim was like a fool that kowtowed to Margaux right away. He did not know that Margaux would not give him endless power. He would just use him to kill Eli.

After an hour elapsed, Eli woke up. He felt that his back was aching. He remembered what happened to him when Hanna brought him in the air, and he fell down. Hanna saw that he had already woken up. She went towards him, and she said sorry to Eli, because she didn't know that he was afraid of heights. And she said that she didn't mean what happened. Eli said that it was okay, because he was the one that didn't tell her that he was afraid of heights. Eli attempted to stand up, but he couldn't. Hanna asked him what happened. He said that he was just okay, but Hanna saw that Eli was having difficulty standing up, so she said that he must take a rest first before they go to search for Enzo.

Inside the cave, Enzo is planning to use the potions to kill the god of darkness, and to get Hanna from Eli, because he is so in love with her. But he needs to become strong because he knows that Margaux is so powerful. He is going to the forest of Milano to get some fruit to eat. As he was walking in the weedy way towards the forest, he saw that there were too many wolves twenty feet away from where he was standing. The wolves saw him and they ran towards him. He did not know what to do, until he remembered how Eli used the sword of bravery. He controlled the sword with his finger. He pointed his finger at the heads of the wolves and slashed their heads. He was so amazed at himself, he would never run again if there were wolves or other bad creatures that he saw in his fantasyland.

Time quickly passed, it's already night. When Tarim became active, he went to search for a man named Eli, because he was going to kill him. He got out of the place where he was leaving. He left the place with his fellow scorpions that had two front claws and a curved tail with a poisonous stinger at the end. The scorpions are too many and too huge. They are ready to sting those creatures that they will meet on their way.
