Chapter 7

Eli told them to trust him, because he can kill all those wolves in just a few seconds. So they let him do what he wanted. Hanna reminded him to take care. Eli goes towards the wolves, while Enzo and Hanna are hiding behind the leaves of the trees. The wolves saw Eli, so they quickly ran towards him. Eli opened his hand and the bright light that came from the small stone on his hand lit up the whole forest of Milano. The wolves stopped running and went back to where they came from, and they never thought about fighting again. Hanna and Enzo get out of the leaves where they are hiding, and they go towards him. Enzo asked Eli why he did not kill those wolves.

"Fiona said that I should not use the power of nature to do evil things. As long as I don't need to kill, I will not," replied Eli.

Hanna agreed with Eli. She said that what Eli did was right. But Enzo doesn't agree with them because he wants revenge on those evil creatures that oppressed him hundreds of years ago. Enzo is envious of Eli. He thinks that Eli is already powerful, and he also wants to get Hanna to him. He doesn't want to be defeated by Eli. So he made an evil plan. After an hour of walking, they felt tired. They stopped to search for a nice spot to take a rest.

The dusk quickly came, the fireflies showed up. Hanna was talking to her firefly friends. The fireflies were telling her something about bad things that might happen, but she didn't know what they meant, because they can't speak well. Eli lay on the dry and withered leaves of trees. Hanna went towards him and she laid beside him and they slept. Enzo is on the other side waiting for them to be totally asleep. He can't restrain himself from doing the evil thing that he is planning. Until Hanna and Eli were totally asleep, he decided to carry out his plan. He searched for the sword of bravery, until he saw it on the withered leaves of the trees beside Eli. Eli put it there because he did not think that there was someone who would get it. He wanted to get the power of nature also, but he couldn't find it. Until Hanna woke up because of the sounds that he made. Enzo saw Hanna, so he escaped before she woke up Eli.

"Eli, Eli, wake up, wake up," yelled Hanna.

Eli woke up and asked her what happened. She told him what really happened. Enzo stole the sword of bravery from him. Eli asked Hanna where Enzo went. She replied that she didn't know because he had already escaped. They tried to follow his track, but it was already too late, because he was already too far away, so they decided to take a rest first, and then they would plan what to do tomorrow. Eli shook his head slightly, a sign that he regretted letting Enzo go with them. He never expected that Enzo was a duplicitous knave who wanted to get the sword from him. Eli promised himself that from now on, he would never trust anyone except Hanna.

On the other hand, Enzo reached the old cave of Ostrava. He was so tired from running, so he decided to go inside the cave and take a rest. The three moons were drifting in the sky. After an hour, they reached the mountain and they disappeared from view.

The dawn quickly came. Hanna and Eli embrace each other while sleeping on the withered leaves of trees. They were shocked when they saw that they were hugging each other. Maybe it was because of the cold night.

On the other hand, Margaux, the god of darkness, promised himself that he would never stop as long as the man named Eli is still alive. He planned to ask for the help of Tarim, the man who could change himself into a huge scorpion. So he went to the place where Tarim was living. He used dark magic to get there as soon as possible.

Enzo wakes up in the morning. As he opened his eyes, he saw that there were too many skeletons besides him. And he also saw that there was a big kettle with something inside it. He remembered that he had already been there before, and that was when the god of darkness ordered him to call Ostrava. So he knew that the cave was the place where Ostrava lived before. He also heard the news that Ostrava had vanished in the fantasyland.

Inside the wide forest of Milano, Eli and Hanna are talking about the sword that Enzo stole from Eli. Eli said that the sword of bravery was a big power that had gone from him. Eli was blaming himself for the loss of the sword, but Hanna said that she must be the one to be blamed. Eli said that they don't need to blame themselves because it is already done and nothing will happen if they just blame themselves. Eli is planning to get it back from Enzo, but he doesn't know where he is.

On the other hand, the goblins are going to the place where the dryads are living. They are too many, and even though they are just small, they are so brave, evil and pernicious. The place is full of trees. The goblins started to cut the trees that they could see, because they know that the dryads are living within the trees, and their lives end when the life of the trees ends. They don't care about everything, even though they know that what they are doing is not right.

Hanna suggested Eli ask for the help of Willem. Eli agreed with the idea of Hanna. He held Hanna's hand and asked the power of nature to bring them to the tree where Willem was living. The small stone shone and they suddenly disappeared from the place where they were standing, and they appeared in front of the tree that had been gashed by the goblins. They saw the ugly creatures that were cutting the trees, so Eli asked them to stop, but they never stopped, and they continued to cut the trees, so Eli was forced to use the power of nature. He asked the power of nature to make the goblins into trees, and the goblins abruptly became trees that couldn't move. Hanna asked why they are always late. Because they had reached the place when Willem was already gone. Hanna answered him not to worry, because they could find a way to get his sword again. She also said to believe her and she would help him.
