Hanna is so grateful to Sylvester and also to Eli. If not because of them, she couldn't come back to her real appearance. She is not a firefly anymore, and she can do many things if she's not a firefly. Eli shows the heart of Caleb to Hanna. Hanna guesses that Eli killed Caleb, and the heart of Caleb is the heart that he showed to her. Eli fell down on the grass because of tiredness from fighting the huge cobra with seventeen heads. Hanna did not know what to do. She was so worried about Eli and she felt sorry for him because she did nothing to help him fight Caleb. She carried him inside the small hut that she made, and let him sleep, because she knew that he was so tired. Hanna did not leave him alone while sleeping, because she didn't know what might happen, because there were too many bad creatures that were rambling everywhere. She looks at Eli's face, and she falls in love with the way Eli sleeps.
Eight hours elapsed. Eli woke up lonely. He did not know that he had slept for over eight hours. Eli remembered everything that happened. He searched for the heart of Caleb, but he couldn't find it. He did not know where it came from. He thought that maybe what happened was just a dream, but his clothes had too much blood, so his mind changed. Eli was stretching his arms and he got out of the small hut.
Hanna saw him that he was already awake, so she invited him to eat. She throws the fruits to Eli. Eli catches them all. Hanna is amazed at him. They had a conversation. Hanna asked Eli how he killed Caleb. Eli told her what he did to kill the cobra with seventeen heads. Hanna was so amazed at him. She said that maybe that's the reason why he slept for over eight hours, because of tiredness. Eli nodded and said that he was so dirty and stinky, he needed to take a cool bath in the river. Hanna agreed with Eli and said that she would go with him because she wanted to take a cool bath too, because she had not swum in the river for over a thousand years. So they went to the river and took a cool bath. They look so intimate, they are playing in the cool water of the twisted river. They are having a conversation about what to do next if they have new enemies.
On the other hand, in the fantasy land, in the wide cave of Dodo, there is a big group of ugly and evil creatures that look like goblins. They are also followers of darkness. They have a leader named Cobie. Cobie is a nefarious creature that has been living in the fantasyland for over thousands of years. He kills all those creatures that he thinks are useless to him.
Cobie ordered all his epigones to attack and kill all the good creatures in the fantasy land. They are planning to attack the place where the dryads are living. With the help of their powers, they can go everywhere they want inside the fantasyland. All of them do not have even a little sympathy for those good creatures that are living freely and do not do anything wrong to them.
On the other hand, one of the loyal servants of Margaux tells him that he witnessed what happened to Caleb. He reported to Margaux that the king of snakes had been killed by a man named Eli. Margaux was very angry when he heard it. He was so out of patience, he asked his servant if what was wrong with that man was that he was killing all his epigones. His servant told him that Eli used the sword of bravery that killed the king of snakes, and the power of nature. He also told Margaux that one of his servants was an impostor, because he told Eli about the king of snakes. The god of darkness asked the servant if he was the impostor in his palace. The servant answered that he was Enzo. Enzo was on the other side of the wall of the palace. He heard what his master and the servant were talking about, so it came to his mind to escape while they did not notice him. The god of darkness ordered the servant to bring Enzo to him, and he would give him a punishment that he wouldn't forget as long as he is alive. But Enzo has already escaped from the palace of Margaux. He is on his way without knowing where to go, because he knows that the god of darkness can find him everywhere he goes.
On his way, he meets Eli and Hanna, so he asks them if he could go with them to fight all the loyal epigones of Margaux. Eli and Hanna let him go with them. While they were walking in a place where tall weeds are growing, they saw six wolves that looked very hungry. The wolves saw them and they ran towards them. Enzo ran because of fear. He hid himself behind the big stone. Eli closed his eyes, and the sword of bravery flew through the air and slashed the heads of the wolves. Enzo got out from behind the big stone where he was hiding and he went towards them. Hanna is so amazed by what Eli did, she can't almost believe what she saw, but everything is possible because they are in a fantasy land.
"How did you do that?" asked Hanna.
"That's nothing on me," bragged Enzo.
"There's nothing on you because you're better off in hiding," said Hanna.
Eli and Hanna laugh, while Enzo looks confused and irritated, because Hanna saw him when he was hiding behind the big stone. He felt embarrassed by Hanna, so he said in his mind that he would never show cowardliness again. They continued walking until they reached the forest of Milano. The forest looked scary, the whispers in the air seemed to want to say something. They stopped for a while because Enzo was hesitating to go with them inside the forest, until he remembered what he had said to himself, that he would never show cowardliness. They continued walking. The leaves of tall trees seemed to tell them to go back. But they still continued, until they saw that there were too many wolves twenty steps away from where they were standing. Enzo wanted to run, but he stopped himself from showing cowardliness to Hanna and Eli. They stop for a while to plan what to do.
