Alex bit her lip "Marcus did as a birthday present" she said timidly.
His eyes darkened and he put the wolf back down hurriedly. Alex sighed. She packed the wolf in the small box it had come in, carefully and placed it in the duffle bag. She hoped he wouldn't mind too much but she wasn't about to leave it behind either.
Dex came back in carrying some boxes and tape. She'd forgotten they had brought some in the boot of the car. She grabbed a box and put it together. She began to pull down the posters and packed them in a box. Her shoes were next, and her precious laptop. She didn't have a lot of stuff, mused Alex and those that she did, were all of sentimental value. Drake picked up her jewelry box and flipped through it. The bangle her father had given her sat in it, woefully forgotten
