Darcy smiled at Anita. This assistant of hers is very good at her job, however, she is still too hotheaded. She needs some practice if she wants to be as calm and level-headed as Darcy.

"So what if she insulted me? I got 30% extra profits from her husband. I think that it was really worth it", Darcy said.

Besides, she isn't one to care about her reputation. She wouldn't have been able to come this far if she cared about what some dumb people thought of her anyway.

Anita immediately brightened up when she heard this. "That's right! You were able to get 30% more from her husband! Serves both of them right!" Anita said. She was in a good mood just thinking about the dumbstruck look that was on Jake's face when he agreed to Darcy's terms.

"But....are you really going to let that woman off?" Darcy seemed mad when she left the cafe earlier. And her boss isn't someone to let off the people who make her angry ....

Darcy smiled when she heard this. "In your eyes, Anita, am I such a good person?" Darcy asked with a smile playing on her lips.

Anita shook her head immediately. Her boss has never been a good woman. But who cares?!

"Find out all you can about that woman, Sonia, before Friday" she suddenly said. Since she wants to die so badly, Darcy will be sure to nail her in her coffin!

Just then, a car pulled up in front of them. Darcy's expression softened when she saw the car.

She pulled open the door and got onto the front seat immediately.

Before she shut the door again, she told Anita, "You can go home today."

Then she shut the door and the car sped away.

Anita wasn't surprised that her boss left her alone there. She was already used to her working habits.

Besides, she has the good sense to leave Darcy and Lucas alone....

"Why did you come to pick me up? What happened to my driver?" Darcy asked. She was fixing up her makeup in the car.

Lucas smiled at the woman who was ignoring the fact that he had gone out of his way to come pick her up.

"You aren't going back to the company. There's no need to let your driver come", Lucas said. He had a satisfied smile on his face. He valued any bit of time that he could get to spend with Darcy.

Darcy finally raised her eyes to meet the face of the insanely handsome man. "Did you find out where he's going to be today?" Darcy asked. There was obvious excitement in her voice when she asked this.

Lucas sighed in his heart. To think that he finally got to spend time with Darcy but she's talking about another man....

"Yes. He's going to be at the Splendor bar tonight. He ordered a private room", Lucas said.

Darcy smiled with satisfaction when he said this. After waiting for two weeks, she finally figured out where that dunchebag was going to be.

She didn't want to resort to stalking him like this that, but he wouldn't give her a chance to talk to him. She did not have a choice.

"Let's go to a mall. I have to get ready" Darcy said.

Lucas looked at Darcy and laughed. He could almost see the dollar signs falling out of her eyes.

That's right. As long as it has something to do with earning more money, Darcy is always sure to give it her best shot..

In a high end bar.

A man was sitting on a couch, looking very much like an emperor.

He was sitting in between two women, one of them pouring wine into his already empty cup and the other one massaging his shoulders.

There was a strip tease going on in front of him. Two women with extremely large breasts were doing their best to seduce him.

The man just watched this with a passive look on his face. Even though these women were the "best of the best" like what the manager told him, they could not get a reaction from him.

The man is Lycan Walker. The CEO of MK Group, the largest conglomerate in all of country K.

"CEO Lycan...are they not to your liking?" A middle-aged man who had been standing behind the young man whispered to him when he saw that the man didn't seem interested in any of the women at all.

Lycan took another glance at the women who were doing their best to seduce him and he instantly felt like puking.

"Get out! All of you get out!" Lycan yelled.

The women were instantly terrified. They were shocked. The man was okay just a few minutes ago. Even though he didn't have any reaction, at least he wasn't so scary.

The woman who was massaging his shoulders leaned closer to her, pressing her large breasts into his arms. She wasn't ready to give up such a high-quality man just yet.

"CEO Lycan...did we do anything to annoy you?" The woman asked.

Lycan pushed the woman away roughly, not caring if she got hurt or not. He absolutely hates it when he has to repeat himself over and over again.

"Are you deaf? I said that all of you should get lost!" Lycan yelled again. His voice was enough to send chills down anyone's spine.

The manager was terrified now. He knows that if he makes this man mad, he could make his bar disappear like it never existed before. He could not take the risk of offending this man at all. .

He barked at the woman who he had pushed away. "What the hell are you still doing here? Didn't he tell you to get out? Get out of here right now!" The manager said.

The woman was already scared out of her senses. They picked themselves up and ran out of the private room.

Lycan sighed as they all ran away. Bunch of idiots. How annoying!
