Darcy chuckled. " A paid f**k toy, now that's a new one."

Sonia was about to lose her mind when she saw how calm Darcy was acting. No matter how much she insulted her, she kept her cool.

Sonia hated the way Darcy was looking at her as if she was an i***t.

She is just a shameless slut posing as a business woman.

What right does she have to look down on her?

"Yes, that's right. No matter how much you warm the beds of those men, they will never take you seriously! You are just a f**k toy. A f*****g prostitute who got her money by sleeping with men! A Prostitute", Sonia said accusingly.

Darcy's gaze darkened when she heard that. Then, it disappeared as soon as it came. It was as if the dark look on her face just now was all an illusion.

She had her playful smirk back on her face.

"Miss, now you can't just go around soiling my reputation like this. As a business woman, I value my reputation above everything else. If you are spreading rumours about me, you should be ready to pay the consequences!" Darcy said.

She looked Sonia straight in the eye. Even though she was smiling, her eyes were very cold. "Expect a letter from my lawyer", Darcy said.

Sonia stepped back subconsciously when Darcy said this. She was smiling at her, but somehow, the woman's smile made it seem as if she was freezing in a dark and cold cellar. It was really bone chilling.

Jake got up just then. He could see that Darcy was angry with his wife now. He sighed. He won't be able to stop Darcy from getting her revenge, that is a fact. He just hoped that it wouldn't affect his company and their deal.

"Miss Young, our deal is still on, right?" Jake asked.

Darcy, who had already started to walk out of the room, turned to look at the man. She flashed him a killer smile. "Of course. Our deal is still on. I'll never give up a chance to make more money", Darcy said. She then turned and walked majestically out of the café.

There was simply no way that you could ignore the woman. She made sure that you could see her, that you had your eyes and attention on her wherever she was.

Anita snorted at Sonia, who had a pale look on her face before following after her boss.

"What is the meaning of this, Jake? Why don't you explain this to me?! You still want to work with her? Tell me, is our marriage more important or is your affair with her more important?" Sonia asked. She was just venting on her husband right now. Sonia would never admit that she felt intimidated when the woman talked to her just now!

"What are you talking about, Sonia? What affair? We just have a business deal! You can ask Cole! He knows the details! We were only here to talk about business!" Jake said, directly pulling his assistant into the mix.

Cole frowned when his name was called. He did not want to get involved in this at all. And he could see the way Jake was looking at Darcy all through the meeting. As a man, he understood that gaze very well. He just could not wait to throw her on a bed!

And Cole had no respect for women like Darcy who would sell their bodies to get what they wanted. He was sure that if Sonia had not shown up, both of them would probably end up in a hotel room!

But it wasn't in his place to tell his boss's wife these things. He has to keep up with the "lies" of his boss. If he still wants to keep his job.

"That's right, Mrs Sonia. There really is nothing going on between the boss and Darcy. You should trust your husband a bit more", Cole said. He felt like he was going to puke for sure when he said this.

"Trust? Of course, I trust my husband! I just don't trust that cheap slut Darcy! Who doesn't know that she is just a slut posing as a business woman? How many men has she opened her legs to get to where she is today?! She wants to sue me?! Bring it on! I'll never be scared of a cheap slut like her!" Sonia said.

When she was done ranting, she focused her eyes on her husband.

"And as for you, Jake, don't you dare to cheat on me! My family will never let you off if you cheat on me!" Sonia said before stomping out of the café. She wasn't done with the things she was doing before she came here. She had rushed here to make sure that her husband didn't cheat on her.

Now that that shameless seductress is gone, she can get back to what she was doing now. .

Jake slapped his forehead in exhaustion as he watched his wife walk away. If it wasn't for her family's influence, he wouldn't have stayed married to her for this long.

However, there is nothing that he can do about it now. He is the one who chose his fate. He will have to deal with it no matter how terrible he feels.

Darcy walked out of the cafe in high spirits. Even if she had been insulted by some insanely jealous woman, she wasn't angry at all.

She would just treat it as if a mad dog barked at her. Besides, she got 70% profit from their deal. That's a whole 30% extra. It was worth it.

Anita soon came running after Darcy. "Ma'am are you really going to let that woman off?! She insulted you in front of everyone!" Anita said.

Darcy smiled at Anita. This assistant of hers is very good at her job, however, she is still too hotheaded. She needs some practice if she wants to be as calm and level-headed as Darcy.
