Most people can point to a single moment that changed their lives. For some, it's graduating college or getting their dream job. For others, it's falling in love or moving somewhere new. For Ava Bennett, it started with a moving truck. She watched from her front porch as box after box disappeared into the house next door. The new neighbor was tall, broad-shouldered, and frustratingly handsome. He wore a plain black T-shirt, carried furniture by himself as if it weighed nothing, and never seemed to break a sweat. At one point, he glanced in her direction. Their eyes met. A strange warmth settled in Ava's chest before she quickly looked away, embarrassed that she'd been staring. Across the yard, Ethan Blackwood frowned. His wolf stirred. Mine. The word hit him with enough force to make him stop walking. Impossible. The woman standing on the porch smelled completely human. And yet every instinct screamed that she belonged at his side. Neither of them realized that the impossible was about to become reality. Within days, the next full moon would awaken something that had been sleeping inside Ava her entire life. And once it woke, neither of their worlds would ever be the same.
