sent, 3:15 PM.
heaving a sigh at the unread message he had sent three hours ago, the boy slouch down against the white wall in the practice room, wiping droplet of sweats on his neck with a towel.
jeongguk hoped that he could at least see her reply since it's literally his fuel ― he would be fired up to practice if she did reply. sadly, the reversed version of his expectation was the thing that became reality.
moon completely took over the sun's job; illuminating the dark blank canvas above. still, no reply.
'she's indeed busy,' jeongguk thought. now already dressed in his sleep attire and comfortably laying on bed, fiddling with his phone while keep waiting.
ding!
he almost fell from his bed when his phone rang. he quickly swiped the lock screen open ― which he didn't bother to set a password since no one dared to lay a finger on his phone. not like they could anyway due to the high level of security.
NARA:
ah... sorry for the late!
NARA:
i was studying.
NARA:
anyways, hi!
his eyes shifted to the digital clock on his nightstand. eleven twenty, it read. and that made tons of question swam in his head, wondering why on earth someone would study until this late.
JEONGGUK:
studying? until this late?
JEONGGUK:
aren't you tired? o.o
NARA:
nope! well, i have to study.
NARA:
because...
NARA:
nevermind! i'm gonna continue now. see ya later!
JEONGGUK:
alright, good luck.
'sighs. this is not going anywhere,' he thought to himself, blowing his bangs.
