{Princess Sophia POV}
The burly figure led me to a place he called "The Sanctum of Solace". It was a place for the healer. He turned and asked me if we had a healer in our world. I shook my head, "No, we don't," I replied, my voice barely above a whisper. He seemed amazed, "So how do you guys heal when you're sick?" he asked, his eyes wide with curiosity.
"We have a hospital where we have nurses," I explained, my voice trembling as I spoke. He just turned and faced the place of the healer, his gaze distant and thoughtful.
He described the place as a sanctuary that had been standing for over a thousand years. The current healer, a woman named Seraphina, was a witch and a very powerful one at that. The mere mention of a witch sent a chill down my spine, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of dread.
The wolf-like creatures all had a supernatural aura about them, and it was disconcerting. I felt like disappearing back to Budakeszi immediately, but it was too late. I was here already, and I had to play along.
So we continued our walk, then the burly figure turned to me. "And what is your name?" he asked, his voice gentle despite his intimidating appearance.
Still trembling, I managed to reply, "My name is Sophia."
"Ah, Princess Sophia," he said, a hint of admiration in his voice. "I'm Scott, the first of the Alpha. The one on the throne, his name is Alpha Hemsworth."
His words washed over me like a wave, leaving me feeling even more overwhelmed. I was still trembling, my mind racing with fear and uncertainty. All I wanted was to escape this nightmare, to wake up back in Budakeszi. But I knew that wasn't possible. This was happening, and it was happening fast.
Scott's hand stretched out to touch my shoulder, and I could feel my heart pounding in my chest. We were alone in a narrow street, taking a walk, and I was almost paralyzed with fear. I didn't want to scream, but the fear gripped me so tightly that I felt like I was on the verge of breaking.
He removed his hand and continued walking, leading me to the next place. It was their warrior training school, a place he referred to as "The Lupine Academy". I saw humans with real wolf faces and human bodies. A few still had their human bodies but with wolf claws. It was a sight that was very scary to behold.
As I stood there, watching in horror and fascination, I saw one of them transform into a complete wolf. My breath hitched in my throat, and I felt like I was melting. Was this real? Was I really seeing this?
I looked at Scott, searching for answers in his eyes. But all I saw was a calm acceptance, as if this was the most normal thing in the world. It was then I realized then that this was their reality.
I had to take a deep breath, trying to calm my racing heart, as I watched the warriors train, transforming from humans to wolves and back again, I was feeling a strange sense of awe.
Scott waved and hailed some of those who trained as we moved on to the third place. It was a forest, filled with bushes and barely a free space that had not been overtaken by nature. We went in deeper, and I was not liking this at all. I wondered what exactly was happening, where we were going.
Matters became worse as we heard a loud, scary voice echo from the forest, but Scott paid no attention. He kept leading me down the forest path. I was scared, terrified even, but he kept at it. We were going deeper into the forest, and I was still confused about where we were heading.
As we were walking, I bumped into a fine-looking young person who had himself covered in a hoodie. I turned and caught a glimpse of his face, but it was partially hidden by the hood. He had a mysterious aura about him, and for a moment, I was captivated.
But then, Scott was so busy walking into the forest that he did not notice the figure. I quickly turned around and followed Scott, leaving the mysterious figure behind. The forest was getting denser, and the path was becoming more challenging to navigate.
Finally, the big figure stopped us in the middle of the forest. We were surrounded by trees and bushes, with nowhere else to run to. I looked around, my heart pounding in my chest. The forest was eerily quiet, the only sound being the rustling of leaves and the occasional hoot of an owl.
I turned to Scott, my eyes wide with fear. "What's happening?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper. He looked at me, his eyes calm and reassuring.
"Don't worry, Princess Sophia," he said, his voice gentle. "You're safe with me."
His words did little to calm my racing heart, but I nodded, forcing myself to trust him. After all, I had no other choice.
Then, the figure roared at Scott, causing him to stagger as he tried to hold his footing. As the figure advanced towards him, Scott pushed me away. I landed far from them, hitting my head on the floor. My vision spun, and for a moment, everything was a blur.
When I regained consciousness, I saw two huge wolves wrestling. I couldn't recognize which one was Scott. Fear gripped me, and I started running as fast as I could, away from the sight.
The forest, once eerily quiet, was now filled with the sounds of the wrestling wolves. My heart pounded in my chest as I ran, the fear pushing me to move faster. I didn't know where I was going, but I knew I had to get away.
As I ran, I could hear the roars of the wolves echoing through the forest. I didn't dare look back, afraid of what I might see. All I could think about was escaping, getting as far away from the wolves as possible.
I soon stopped hearing the sound of two wolves wrestling and started hearing the sound of only one wolf echoing through the forest. It seemed to be running after me. I ran as fast as I could, but the sound kept drawing nearer. Fear gripped me tighter, my heart pounding in my chest as I pushed myself to move faster.
Suddenly, I was swept off my feet by a figure of immense size and strength. The sheer force of the pull caused my vision to blur, and I was unable to see anything clearly. I didn't see his face, but the abruptness of the action left me disoriented and bewildered.
The figure was massive, like a mountain moving with purpose. I could feel the power radiating from him, a raw and primal energy that was both terrifying and awe-inspiring. His grip was firm, unyielding, like iron bands wrapped around me.
I felt myself being carried away, the dense forest becoming a blur of green and brown. The sounds of the forest, once so loud and overwhelming, started to fade into the distance. The wolf's roars grew fainter, swallowed by the vastness of the forest.
Soon, all I could hear was the sound of my own breathing, ragged and frantic, and the steady thump of the figure's footsteps.
