Pandemonium Dream

CHAPTER 1 : THE MISERY

'' WAKE UP! WAKE UP! It's already 9 am. This girl, look at your room, so messed up, no one can differentiate between this room and a pig sty. At least act like a girl. People will shame us saying how dirty these women lives.  How you're gonna maintain your household later on after you get married?  People will slander me and your father by saying that we didn't educate our daughter well. Get up, florence ''  she said. (INSIDE ME) 'I am tired of your lessons about the society, Mother. Is it only our duty to clean and maintain the chores as a woman?  Can't you say the same thing to me not differentiating the so called Gender duties.  Uhhhhhh!!!  Anyway I can't do anything. It's helpless. You were educated like that so it's not your fault as a whole. I should be happy as a person at least you believe in Gender Equality.'

    'KAY MOM ... I am getting up'. A young, lazy and eccentric 18 years old  is getting ready for another day. A very normal student life,  Normal routine including school to home and home to school. Nothing fun particularly for others but it was totally different for her. She loved Sleeping and Singing, all by her alone. Clubbing, Travelling, Excursion might be people weekend plan but Sleeping and Dreaming was her ultimate vacation. Can you believe someone sleeping for 15 to 18 hours straight for 3 months?  That was our laz's vacation plan. End of introduction, Back to her life.

                           "Would you like to be reborn as a dog in your next life as well? Mr doggo? I don't know about me, it's fun to be a human but we are too much focused on ourselves. It kind of sucks if we dearly think about it. I guess you'd love to be born as a pet of a Rich Household, right? Well, it sucks to get beaten and poisoned by some human. I feel sorry for you and your brothers. Only if I had the powers, I'd love to protect all of your brothers. I guess that's just an excuse."  chatting peculiarly while feeding a stray dog. 'What are you doing over there florence?' said lykke. 

               ' ****'

               'Shut up with your chinese.'

                'You know your friend loves Chinese Calligraphy and Culture, It's Interesting.'

                'Yeah! Yeah! Anyway  What's your horoscope?,' said lykke.

                'I don't know, Maybe Perhaps, ''leo''. '

                'Today's horoscope says that you are the luckiest , I guess someone's crush gonna propose                           today (smirking).'

                'As if...He already went back to china you should know that. Anyway, he was an exchange                               student so I shouldn't be thinking about him anymore.'

                'OMO MY DEAR BABY COME HERE MAMA'S WITH YA.'

                'Stop it, said florence chuckling funnily.'

               (WITH HOURS GONE ,  SOMEONE GOT SICK IN CLASSROOM  WITH SEVERE  HEADACHE AND

               COLD)

               'Let's take you to the Infirmary,' said Captain of the class.

               'I'll help you,' said florence.

 Walking by the corridors, there were many students who seemed sick. Feeling surprised and strange, they haphazardly took the sick student towards the infirmary. Numbers of students were increasing every minute when suddenly The Class Captain collapsed on the ground. Nervousness was on the verge of overflowing as slowly everyone present in the school got sick on different scales. With the face of dumb person, Florence was unable to do anything at the moment. Known as a crybaby, she started crying visualising the Traumatic Scenery. Lykke finds her and starts calming her down. Teachers and Workers were busy taking care of the situation and informing parents. Eventually, Lykke also got caught a very high headache. With the flow of time, we got to know that the situation outside the school was exactly the same as here. Everyone was slowly taken to their homes and hospitals with the Government Holiday for the time being.          

                'Stay warm and call me if need something dear', said mom.

                'You too mama'.

Should i call lykke to check if she's okay? I wanna sleep with mama tonight but I don't wanna disturb her this late night. What is going on ? Is it some kind of virus like influenza or something else? We are lucky enough to have food and shelter. What about homeless people? Nevermind, For now I should take care of myself and my parents. I wonder what he might be doing. 

          "YOU ARE ASKED TO STAY INSIDE YOUR HOUSE AND STAY SAFE. AVOID DISTANCE. AND MAINTAIN CLEANLINESS"  buzzing outside the house.

             'Mama, Mama , I am hungry. Where are you?'

             'There's breakfast on your table. Eat it and warm your milk before drinking it. Mom's got an                             emergency, She'll be back by 6. Stay warm and be a good girl. I LOVE YOU.'  said the note on the                    table.

             'I hope everything's going alright.'

  With the sound of the clock giving me the sign of falling day into night,  The heaviness of the heart  making one's weight heavy to shrink inside the earth, Patiently waiting her mother to come back home safe and sound. Everyone's fear must be losing someone dear, ain't it?  'HEY DEAR, I'M BACK HOME'  that small sentence carried a heavy sentiment of emotions that everyone wants to hear from their dear especially that night. Jumping out of the warm bed,  HURRIEDLY  jumps to hug the mother, she never felt such scared  before. With the smile on her face, Mama hugged back florence patting her head and with a low voice said,' My child, I am sorry to say this but your grandmother is no longer with us. She left the world yesterday night, Since you'd fight to come with me, I didn't give you the news in the morning. I wished you to see her for the last time as well but the priority right now should be the health of others. What's gone is gone, for now mama should focus on you and herself. I am again sorry for not informing you.'
