We went to the quarry from the hotel. We headed past the black angel and around the gardens up to the bandstand. Me and James used to come here when he came down to visit me for the weekend. I remember once, on Valentines Day, he brought me here, it was so romantic, I fell asleep on him that night, Right in the middle of the floor, Under the stars. He stayed up all night, just to make sure I didn't wake up or nothing happened to me. I smiled remembering it.
We jumped over the locked gates and sat down right in the middle of the floor.
'So, how are you?' I asked. He looked down at me and smiled.
'I'm fine, doing okay now. So what about you?'
'I'm fine' I smiled at him but he didn't smile back.
'That's not what I mean and you know it' I was a little confused.
