Chapter Seventeen

I have tried to forget all about James and the drama spin my life seems to be in at the moment. All my attention has been on Demi's fast approaching birthday. Me and Aaron were talking the other day and we had a BIG brain-wave. I needed something to take my mind off everything and what a better way to do that than a party. Demi is important to me and I want her birthday to be the best night of her life. I've never had a proper big party myself, so planning Demi's was going to be sooo much fun, even more so when Az and the rest of the guys are going to help... and of course, its a surprise.

Demi had gone out with Liam for the day, he offered to take her out so we could plan her party, without her hearing us, and he would be filled in on everything later. We were all sat down on the sofa in the front room part of mine and Tom's suite. Mike and Ollie were sat on the sofa with notebooks, trying to think of stuff that we would need, such as balloons, decorations and other things. Tom was sitting on the chair thinking of ways he could murder Aaron for putting this thought in my head, while me and Az were sat on the floor, thinking of other things like, who to invite and what to buy her for her birthday gifts.

'Remember guys, we have less than a week to do this in' I stated, they all groaned. This was hard enough for them, without me reminding them to hurry so we could get started with everything.

'OH,' Aaron shouted, causing everyone to jump about 50 feet on the air. 'It can have a theme' he said with a smile.

'That's a great idea, Aaron!' I quickly said, loving the idea. The guys gave him death glares. I turned to them and sighed.

'Guys, it is a good idea. If it has a theme to it, then it will make it a hell of a lot easier to plan, meaning your jobs just got about 100 times easier.' I said, they all suddenly smiled.

'Great idea, thanks Az' Mike said, smiling.

'What theme should it be? I mean there is 100's you could pick from' Ollie suddenly spoke up. We all sat around for a minute or two trying to think of something. Then something can to me.

'I know, when I was looking at thing to do for my birthday, there was this website I looked at and it had all these amazing ideas.' I said with a smile. The guys looked at me and nodded.

'Great idea, babe. What theme did you have?' Mike asked.

'I cancelled my birthday. Aaron go get your laptop' I ordered him, with a smile. He smiled back at me and jumped up and ran out of the hotel room to his.

'Why didn't you have a birthday party?' Tom asked, raising his eyebrows at me, I just shrugged my shoulders.'

'I decided I didn't want one anymore.' I said with a smile. That wasn't technically true but never mind. The guys just smiled back at me as Aaron came running back into the room with his laptop in hand. He gave it to me and I looked up the webpage.

'Hmmm......theres lots of different ideas.' I said, to myself more than the guys. I moved so I was sat in between Mike and Ollie's legs on the floor. Tom and Aaron came and sat on the sofa next to the guys so they could see the laptop.

'MTV music awards, limo party, nightclub diva, skater themed, vegas casino....' Mike started to read them all out.

'Ooh, what about that one?' Tom said, pointing to one that said gothic party.

'Gothic party? That sounds soooo cool.' Aaron started chanting.

'Ok, Let's have a look at that then, But remember we...'

'Only have a week to plan it' the guys all said at once. I laughed. God, I love these guys. We looked at the party idea and decided it would be perfect to do. So, We spent the whole day planning it. Yes, a whole day, We decided that if we could plan it quickly we could get the invites out and people would have more time to see if they would be able to attend. In the end, we decided that;

The invites will have a revamped version of Edger Allen Poe's The Raven poem. The invite itself looks like a scroll that had been burnt at the edges to make it look old and gothic and will be in an envelope shaped like a coffin and sealed shut with red wax. We managed to find an old gothic building out in the middle of the countryside, just outside of town that is back-to-back with an old creepy cemetery. Even though it didn't say it, Aaron insisted that it be a costume party. We decided for food to have; Candy apples, Cotton candy, chips, dip, hot-dogs, and burgers.

Brian had the great idea of a chocolate fountain but instead of having brown chocolate, to see if we could get some red chocolate, like strawberry chocolate so it looks like thick red blood. We all thought that was a totally wicked, yet, gross thought. Ollie had a great idea for the centrepieces, they will be fish bowels with dry-ice and black magic roses...So, we used it. All the guys thought it was a great idea as, for the tablecloths, they will be burgundy with spiderwebs material overlayed on top.

After we got all that sort of thing sorted out, we were sat thinking for a minute, what about music and stuff. So I was put in charge of the music, since it was a gothic themed party, we decided to go with the safe stuff, we got a mix of a little bit of music I KNOW she loves and a little bit to tie in with the theme, meaning we will play some My Chemical Romance, Avenged Sevenfold, Good Charlotte and Hollywood Undead as well as throwing in some Murderdolls, Slipknot, Marilyn Manson and Black Veil Brides. To creep it up a little, the guys decided to hire some guys from some company they had worked with before to usher people around and to their seats and stuff, they have been told that they will be required to wear black tuxedos (Western type square tail and white ruffled shirts) top hats, white gloves, canes and a skeleton mask, which Mike is in charge of finding since it was his idea, Which we all love by-the-way.

Aaron had a really sweet idea Since Demi and Liam have been getting along great that he should dance with her in a very romantic way, it would be the perfect time for him to tell her how he feels.

Aaron phoned Liam up after he told us all his idea, which we loved, to make sure he was cool with it. He was. He was totally on board with it and decided it WOULD be the perfect time to tell Demi how he feels and ask her to be his girlfriend.

We all talked about what song we should play for Liam and Demi's special dance. Ollie suggested a song called 'Dia De Los Muertos' which in English means 'Day Of the Dead' apparently its a waltz type dance. It sounded like a good idea, So that was the plan.

'Who shall we invite for her?' Aaron asked.

'Ummmm......Family, Friends, Ummmm.....' I couldn't think.

'Oh, I got an idea!' Mike spoke up. We all waited to hear his idea. 'Well...I'm sure if we call up a few friends from the festival, We can get them to come. Do you think she would mind them gate-crashing her party?' Mike asked, I shook my head and shrugged my shoulders.

'No, I don't think she would mind. Why who are you thinking?' I asked, in a wondering tone. He got up and took his phone out, after about an hour on the phone talking to people we had a rock star guest list:

Joey Jordison and Wednesday 13 from the Murderdolls, The Madden twins from Good Charlotte, all of Black Veil Brides, Most of Slipknot, Escape the fate and a band I know she would love...ALL of My Chemical Romance.

After we had spent the whole day planning her party, Demi and Liam can back, He took her up to the beach, That's sooo sweet of him. As they entered the room, Demi let out a loud sigh, causing everyone to turn and look at her, she blushed a little and came and sat by me.

After about half an hour, Demi announced that she was tried and went to take a shower before heading off to crash for the night, giving us the chance to fill Liam in on the plan. He thought it was a great idea and let us in on an idea of his own.

'Me and Demi were talking today and she was telling me about people who she likes and everything' Liam stated, causing Mike to ask what the hell it had to do with anything. Liam smacked hin up the back of the head before continuing;

'Well, she said something about when she was older she wants to be a tattoo artist, How cool is that?! When I asked her why She said something about how much she looks up to Tina Rodriguez and s**t so......' He paused to look at us.

'So.....?..' I asked, smiling.

'Well...I know her and I phoned her and asked if she could come down here and surprise Dem at her party and give her, her first Tat or something as a present... And she said she would love to.' He finished with a smile. When no one said anything, He looked at me.

'Was that a bad idea?' He asked He looked upset that no one said how cool they thought it was.

'No, no, Liam it's not a bad idea!!!' I said, smiling soooo wide my face hurt. 'That's a really good idea! Do you know how much she will love that?!.' he smiled and nodded his head. All the guys said that it was such a cool idea. Liam told us that he had already ordered her a plane ticket and she was flying in at some point over the next couple of days. Mike then told him about the guys from the festival coming. He explained that they will be arriving all week, Between now and the party, which we arranged and booked for on her actual birthday, which was a Friday night!

Michael spent most of the night, downstairs arranging and booking all the rooms for the party guests that would be arriving all week.

Ok, We had the plan, Now we just have to put it into action and hope Demi doesn't find out...........
