Cody and Bailey were in Opium, putting up some of the finished screen dividers with James and Matt, while Meili and Luna worked in another area. The red lacquer screens were being secured between booths on the second level, where patrons would enter the dining room. On the ground level would be scattered tables and chairs, as well as a few special sitting areas. The “special” areas featured large loungers the size of beds on either side of a table.
“I can’t wait to see the loungers in this space,” Cody said. “It was an interesting idea to put some of those in along with the regular chairs.”
“That was Matt and James’ idea,” Bailey said.
“We went to a restaurant once, where all the seating consisted of plush white loungers around large tables,” Matt said.
