The first round of the match was fairly mellow, with both men doing a lot of dancing around the ring and playing to the crowd.
“What a couple of hams,” Cody said to Bailey.
“I prefer their dancing around to the punching,” Bailey said.
Once round one was over, Luna and Erica gathered the kids together.
“What are you all going to do after looking at the model train?” Cody said.
“We’ll go back to the theater,” Luna said. “The mermaid is still there, and the strap act said they’d show the kids a thing or two.”
“Plus, there are extra cupcakes waiting for them,” Erica said.
“Yay cupcakes!” the kids all yelled.
Manny’s wife and son, Greg, joined the group. Erica stayed behind and sat beside Cody.
“So, what do you think so far?” Bailey said.
“The evening is proving to be a huge success,”
