When we entered the house, I was stunned. Even Reighn stopped walking because we were both looking at two people hugging. I clearly saw with my own eyes how my godfather hugged the woman back.
“Mommy, daddy! Rachel is here!” Reighn suddenly shouted, so they turned to us.
My attention wasn't on my godfather but on the woman next to him. She was beautiful, her face like an angel's. She looked very young, as if she was only in her 20s. Her face was so gentle that she seemed very innocent. She also wasn't wearing any makeup or anything on her face.
“Are you Rachel?” she asked me with a smile, using her angelic voice.
“Yes,” I answered her.
“You're gorgeous. Reighn was right. By the way, I’m Katherine, your godfather’s wife, I mean ex-wife,” she introduced herself to me.
