“Miss, wake up. Eat first.” said Manang to me.
“What time is it?” I asked her sleepily.
“It's two in the afternoon, miss.” she replied to me.
“Alright, I'll just go downstairs.”
“No need, I brought your food up here. Adam said to just let you rest. But I don't want you to go hungry, so I brought it up so you wouldn't have to tire yourself going down.” she said to me.
“Thank you.” I said to her warmly.
“Eat so you can sleep again,” she told me.
“Yes, thank you again.”
“Is there any dish you'd like for dinner tonight?” she asked me.
“Is it okay if I cook our dinner?” I asked her.
“Sure, I know Adam will be happy to know that you're the one cooking.” she said to me.
“Thank you.”
