After the event, Analyn and Mary Ann accompanied me to my room. I found out that they were also my classmates. Some boys approached me, and one of them was their varsity player. I wasn't interested, but since he spoke to me politely, I responded politely as well.
"I need to go because I still have practice," he said to me.
"Okay," I said to Lance with a smile.
"But you can come with me if you want," he said to me.
"Next time, maybe. I'm still jet-lagged," I made an excuse to him. But the real reason was that we weren't close or friends for me to go with him.
"Okay, see you tomorrow," he said to me with a smile.
I just smiled. He acted like we were close, but he was good-looking and smelled nice, so maybe that's why he had such strong confidence. I said goodbye to my classmate
