The whole day, Katherine, Reighn, and Adam went out like a happy family. They returned home late at night, and Adam drove them back. Reighn was in the bathroom, and Adam had already said his goodbyes. He was about to leave through the door when Katherine stopped him.
“Adam, thank you for agreeing to take our child out,” Katherine said softly to her ex-husband.
“I’m doing this for Reighn. Just for my son,” Adam replied seriously.
“Thank you anyway, because you make our child happy.”
“I'd like Reighn to spend every Saturday with me. I'll pick him up and take him back at night. If that's okay with you?” he asked her.
“Okay, Reighn will be happier when she finds out. She really wants to be with you.”
“Thank you,” Adam said, and was about to leave.
