“Does that mean you never actually cheated on me?” I asked him, crying.
“I never cheated on you. And why would I do that?” he asked me.
“I hate you!” I said to him, irritated.
“I’m sorry, my love,” he said sweetly to me and kissed me on the lips.
“But why didn't you just cheat on me? Your secretary is pretty,” I asked him, as if I was looking for an excuse for us to fight now.
“I don't want to, Katherine cheated on me, so why would I do that to you?” he said, which surprised me.
“Even handsome guys get cheated on too? But why does she want to get back with you when she's the one who cheated?” I said to him because I couldn't believe Katherine's audacity.
“Maybe because she realized I'm better than her guy.” he said, laughing as if it was nothing and even made it a joke.
