Chapter 28. The Oasis
I turned to the satchel with the scrolls and opened the clasp. Grabbing out the darker brassy scroll, The Scroll of Beasts and Lore, unrolling it as fast as my hands allowed. Pointing it directly towards the water which was backed by dunes shaded by the burgundy blended skies.
Citrine moved just a few paces ahead me to take a drink from the water in front of us.
Oasis: An uncommon location in a desert which provided refuge of shelter, water and sometimes food for desert creatures and people. Creatures have a better sense for locating these as most people often cannot remember or sense where they are.
Lowering the page I stared at the sight before me, “So… this… is an Oasis.”
