Chapter 26. Eerie Desert Night.   We, Citrine my mount and I, had been running in the same direction pointed out to me when I had asked the Elder, High Sage of the Opal City’s Cathedral, which way south was. The air was pleasantly refreshing as it whipped against my face, with the force of my mounts sprint, my hair getting tangled and pushed onto my face and behind my head. The scent of the desert was earthy during the night, not much different to the air in the Glistening Opal Cathedral, other than being fresher and feeling the wind against my face, hair, cloak and body generally overall. The hood of my cloak had stayed up but barely.
