VIIIWELL, THAT TOOK LONGER than I thought. More trees were down in the woods near the pasture. Which I found odd, as there wasn't any wind storm last night. They were mostly broken off at about 10 or 12 foot off the ground. What took long was that some fell on some permanent barbed wire fences and so I had to pull the wire out from under and patch them all tight again so the cows wouldn't decide to cross them. My neighbor's corn was turning ripe, but they'd still love to get to it. Soybeans, not so much, but that was another forage for them, too. Meaning that I had to stay out there until I got it all fixed. Good thing it stayed cool today. I was sweating, but not too much to deal with, and the flies weren't bothering me.
