It was a sunny afternoon when I decided to meet up with Diane during lunch. She had been unusually quiet since our confrontation with Damien, and I knew the office atmosphere had turned venomous. She sat across from me at the café, bowing her head like she was going to cry.
“Diane, you don't look too good. Did anything happen when I left to meet the client from Evicon group?" I asked.
