Lila’s P.O.V
The sand began to sink me gradually, and I struggled to jump out, but I still landed on another part of the ground, and it swallowed me. I ended up swimming in it. It covered almost to my eyes and I saw a metal clinging to a wooden frame close to where I was struggling helplessly for my life.
I finally grabbed it and climbed to the top of the frame and immediately, I sprang up from bed.
I looked around frightened and sweating with goosebumps. I dragged the duvet to myself, looking around like I was under attack. It took a while for me to realize that I was alone in my hotel room.
“Urgh!!!” I groaned in pain, folding and squeezing my hand into fists and hitting the bed countlessly. My teeth gripped each other tightly and everywhere in my mouth felt so hard.
