Dahlia's POV
A sudden shift in my mind told me that Blue was finally stirring, slowly coming back to me. This was my chance—I had to try and make things right.
"Blue, can you hear me? Please, I'm so sorry! I never meant to hurt you. I was just upset and acted without thinking. You know I'd never do anything to push you away. Please, forgive me!" My words tumbled out in a rush, my vision blurring with tears.
"I forgive you, Dahlia." Her voice was soft, yet firm, carrying a tinge of regret. "I made a rash decision too, pulling away like that. I never wanted to hurt you either. I just... I don’t want you to make the wrong choice. We need them, Dahlia. They're ours. Please, promise me you’ll give it more time. Please." She pleaded, her desperation wrapping around me like a vice.
