Lilith's POV I found myself in the same damn spot I had been in a week ago-staring at the wall like it owed me something. The frustration simmered under my skin. What was even worse was the realization that the twins weren't going to show up. I woke up alone, the bed empty, no note, nothing. Did they expect me to sit around and wait for them to waltz in? It wasn't just that though, no. It was everything else. The embarrassment of last night still gnawed at me. I'd made a complete fool of myself, and I was almost certain Quinley had orchestrated the entire thing. She wanted me to lash out at her, and in my half-drunken, sexed-up state, I'd taken the bait.
