Liam’s POV
The time had come to head home. Oberon went to pack an overnight bag while Logan and I made our way to wake Lia. He wanted to see the room where I had first laid eyes on our mate. I still remembered exactly where it was—but even if I hadn’t, her scent would’ve led me straight to her like a beacon in the dark.
I eased her bedroom door open, just enough to slip my head inside. I wanted to watch her sleep—just for a moment—before waking her. And just like the first time, the moment her scent hit me, it nearly brought me to my knees. I didn’t even get a second to process it before my twin shoved past me into the room, driven by the same intoxicating pull.
He froze at the sight of her.
