Chapter 21 The Mastermind
Caitlyn's POV
I snapped out of the accident as a massive wave of exhaustion washed over me.
Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain in my belly and then collapsed, clutching my abdomen.
"Caitlyn!"
Before losing consciousness, I saw Talon running toward me, his face filled with worry.
In a daze, I heard someone continuously calling my name, as if I were lying on a moving stretcher, and Talon was pushing me down the hospital hallway.
"Clear the way! Clear the way!"
"What's happening?"
I heard a familiar voice shortly after, but no matter how hard I tried, my eyes wouldn't open.
"Uncle Taric, it's Caitlyn. She's been in a car accident. You have to save her!"
Leona pleaded with Taric, her voice trembling with tears and urgency.
"Uh, alright. I will."
