"Please don't leave me mom.." He continued as a tear fell down his cheeks.
I moved back as I stared at him in surprise. Mom?? He was even tearing up. Something I never expected that would happen. Does he have a bad relationship with his mother? Why did he look so sad when he mentioned her name??
I had a lot of unanswered questions in my head but I didn't voice them out. I couldn't even ask anyone because I'm really sure no one would answer me. The only thing I could do was pet him back to sleep.
I whispered small encouraging words in his ear and it didn't take a while for him to stop shaking and go back to sleep. Finally. I tried to remove my hand from his grip but he wouldn't let me.
"Just stay for now.." He muttered sleepily.
I decided not to struggle and let him do what he wants. F
