Megan’s Bonus Tip
Every South Floridian has a Hurricane Kit. In June, at the start of the hurricane season, homeowners will go through their kit and double check to be sure to have the necessary supplies.
Here is a partial list of what Megan’s kit includes:
1 gallon of drinking water per person/per day
3-7 days of non-perishable food/per person

Non-electric can opener
Cleaning supplies, Bleach
First Aid Kit
