Our plan failed. I looked around the jail cell and there was pretty much nothing to look at. We didn't get a bad punishment since they thought we were young delinquents. But we had to testify! Courtney even came and backed us up. She had proof it was her bracelet and Hailey had stolen it. But we still have to spend a night in the jail cell. I smelt like a hobo.
I couldn't wait for my mom to come and pick me up. I was so tired, I could barely sleep last night. I'm never doing this again.
Finally, my mom came and said she would confiscate my laptop. I guess that's what I deserve. But we were only doing a good thing for a friend. We weren't actually stealing anything!
I got home and had a nice long shower. It felt warm and amazing! I'm never getting in a jail cell again!
