"Cade's POV"

She looked at me in shock, silently staring. Just then my phone rang snapping her out of her trance. It was my mother, I hit ignore still waiting on her answer. "Who was it? Work?" She asked changing the subject. I sighed "it's mother, look I don't need an answer right away but I can't keep trying to restrain myself." She looked down and nodded her head. "I'll think about it,but I need a few days." *Ring, Ring* *Ring, Ring* I huffed and looked at my phone, but it was Athena's this time. "Its your mom how'd she get my number?" I shrugged. "Hello?... Yes, he's here you wanna ta-...oh okay, sure I'd be delighted too. Uh huh, okay see you at noon. Miss you too." I smiled as she looked up at me "your mother wants to have tea just me and her." I laughed "Oh god here comes her talk well you have fun with that. She doesn't take no for an answer." I laughed some more "what talk?" She asked. I shook my head "you'll find out, you should go get ready its 10 o clock" she muttered something under her breath and walked out the door.

"Athena's POV"

Remember that pull was talking about earlier? It's only gotten stronger now and hard to ignore. And I don't know about his offer to void the contract, I may have an attraction but that could be all it is. But at the same time how do I know if I don't try? He did say he had an attraction to me as well, who's to say he won't try to screw me over? But there's the chance that he's not lying about it, but it's a chance do I really want to take it? I don't know, I can't think about it right now it's a lot in one day well one morning. And I need to get dressed. I put on my light blue high tea dress and classic blue heels, my pearls, light white lace gloves. And curled my hair, Then I finished off my look with a white floppy hat. I fixed my make up and added a red lip, and was out the door to meet Cade's mother. The place she had me meet her at was very beautiful and elegant, classical music was being played in the background. Round tables with white table cloths adorned with a complete tea set and small saucers for your snacks and cakes. Cade's mom was in the center of the room,she smiled and hugged me. "Hello hun how have you been? And may I apologize for the way my husband acted yesterday." We sat down and I laid my napkin in my lap. "I've been fine I keep the shop closed on weekends so I can still have me time. Why does he act that way? If you don't mind me asking." She sighed and looked ne in the eyes "he was raised to protect his income, and his family he just takes it a little to far. Cade's father comes from a long line of investors and CEO's all the males in the family are like that. But thank God Cade knows how far to take it and doesn't make a complete fool of himself." I nodded and thought to myself, he doesn't go as far as his dad but yet he made a contract with me so...how far is too far with this family? "So have you two set a date yet? I want to know how long I need to wait for grandkids." I choked on my tea. "Um-uh we have not set a date yet I'm sorry." She nodded deep on thought. "You two would have beautiful babies. Your eyes, his hair, and from what I've heard little attitude about them as well. Especially with the way Cade is, and I know the only reason you didn't is because Cade had stopped you yesterday." I smiled and laughed I do have an attitude. "I can't wait to expand our family dinner's, of course the kids would have to be old enough to sit at a table. And have some good manners, I know I can't trust you two to raise your kids right though." Suddenly I felt hot and queasy "excuse me for a minute please" she nodded and I got up from the table I needed some air. The cool air outside hit my face calming me for a minute so I coykd get my phone. I texted Cade.

Me: you could've warned me about the baby talk with your nother!

Cade: baby talk? I thought she was going to talk to you about a set date for the "wedding"

Me: yea she did, but she wants grandbabies! Not just one Cade.

Cade: well that means she likes you and plans on having you around for a long time.

Me: our agreement was not to get married and have kids. We were faking it remember?

Cade: well we can make it real just let me void the contract, and be with me.

I sighed what am I going to do. I went back inside and grabbed my stuff "I'm sorry I'm not feeling well, can we do this again sometime I need to go home and rest." She smiled "sure thing hun, maybe I'll have grandkids shortly after the wedding!" She had a big grin on her face, I just chuckled awkwardly and said my goodbye's.
