"Athena's POV"

well its that time, time to play dress up and pretend to be engaged to the heir of a billion dollar fortune. I'm nervous of course, not because of his mom she's a sweet lady. but his dad I don't know how to act around him he is described as tall handsome like his son, and can change at the flip of a switch. then there's also the fact that I'm always find my self swoon over Cade. but that can't be known I have to shove the feelings aside or it will void the contract, and I refuse to lose. I couldn't help the to have this nagging feeling pulling on my heart proving that I have feelings for him, but that would make the contract void. as for Nolan I have been avoiding him since the kiss, I told him that we need to split up shifts.so now I open in the morning and Nolan closes at night. as I was dwelling on my thoughts I realized it was almost time for dinner, Cade would be here any minute. and quickly slipped my shoes on and my dress. next thing I know the door bell rings, Cade was standing there behind the door with a grin on on his. "what?" I asked with a funny look. "Oh nothing just I'm starting to hate this contract. you look amazing in that black cocktail dress. just beautiful." I blushed and quickly stuffed my feelings back down. he walked me out to the car and opened the door. as we pulled up to the restaurant a valet was already waiting to take the car. Cade wrapped his arm around my waist after handing over the keys. she smelled amazing like oak and Cedar. his mother gave me a hug and we sat down, the silence was killing me. " we need to discuss a prenuptial because I'm sure my son hasn't done that yet." I sat there in shock. Cade's hand landed on my thigh in attempts to calm me down. "father were not doing this right now, lets have a nice dinner for once. besides she runs her own shop and models she doesn't need money." his father grumbled "You never know something could happen and she goes broke then what? we shouldn't have let you choose your own lobe life if I'd known you'd go after a bimbo I would've arranged something." it was my turn to scoff "excu-" I was cut off by Cade "that is uncalled for you haven't even tried to get to know Athena, she is more then just a beautiful woman. she's smart, and sweet, and helps anyone she can when she can. and she sure as hell won't put up with anyone's bs. I'm not going to make her put up with your crap either, sorry mother but we're done here me and Athena are leaving I wish this went better." Cade grabbed my hand and pulled me away from the table before I could get anything in. but I don't think I would've been able to anyways I was distracted by what he'd said I did even realize we were already driving away.

"cade's POV"

god the nerve of him I know were faking but it doesn't mean what I said wasn't true. and I have feelings for this girl I know she has them to I've seen the blushes and felt tingles. "let's go do something together?" I asked but I didn't get an answer. I looked over and she was asleep, she looked like an angel. I tapped her leg after pulling into the parking lot of a bar. she jolted awake "huh? did you say something?" I laughed "yes, let's do something together" she looked at me groggy eyed. "Like what?" I pointed to the bar in front of us she smiled and got out of the car. I take that as a yes, 40 minutes here and we had already taken 10 shots of tequila, and had 3 drinks. I can't hold my liquor apparently because I was slurring more then her she laughed at me . oh my god that laugh! she grabbed my hand and pulled me to the dance floor, we danced for hours it seemed like doing shot after shot. I was falling for this girl and something tells me she was falling too.

*beep beep beep*

*beep beep beep*

groaning I rolled over and shut off the alarm, I was home in bed covers on the floor just the sheet was keeping my body from the cool air. I wonder if Athena made it home okay, god I hope so. I reached for my phone and sent her a good morning text.

*buzz buzz*

weird not my phone, that's when I rolled on my side. there on the right side of my bed was a sleeping Angel, her hair a mess and make up smudged. sleeping in my shirt from college, oh no I hope nothing happened that would be bad. the contract would be voided and in worse case I could get blamed for taking advantage. I quickly got up and looked around the room clothes were just threw all over the place okay not a good sign so far. I shook Athena "hey wake up" she rolled around and looked at me "if your not going to let me sleep off the hang over would you atlest make coffee?" I couldn't believe that came out her mouth. "what happened?" she groaned and got up, walking into the kitchen the shirt was a little short. short enough to tell she was wearing a g string. my cheeks got hot. "Cade relax your contract is safe nothing happened, you got sick all over your self and i had to help you to the car. I drove us here thanks to GPS, stripped you down to your boxers and got you into bed. by then I was tired and smelled so I stripped down and found something of yours. I didn't wanna leave you incase you choked on your own vomit so I stayed." I smiled and sighed. "really hun nothing happ-" I stopped her from talking kissed her my hands found her legs and lifted her up. she wrapped her legs around my waist, and I backed her up against ths wall. but all to soon she pushed me off. "what are you doing?" she asked me breathless. "I can't help it Athena I want you." she blushed " no we can't the contract we both agreed." I groaned and rubbing my temple "You can't tell me you haven't be curious" she bit her lip and looked down. she didn't have to say anything I already knew her answer. "So what do you say wanna void that contract?".
