Chapter FiveLilly tugged on her swim fins while sitting in the lapping water at the edge of the rolling tide pool. Glen managed to get into his fins with ease. Maybe he did have some experience in snorkeling. That seemed encouraging. But he evidently did not know to walk backwards with the awkward flippers in shallow water. He fell quite ungraciously. Lilly did not know what to do to keep him from feeling embarrassed so she turned her back and began to make her way into deeper water, pretending she didn't see and inadvertently showing him how to do it.
