"Are you crazy?" I heard an unfamiliar male voice as I groaned. "You really risked your identity for... for a human?" The voice demanded.
"Technically, she is no longer a human," a familiar voice retorted. I slowly opened my eyes and blinked several times.
My head throbbed, and as if that wasn’t enough, I felt an aching pain in my left arm. I groaned as I slowly lifted my head from a pillow. So, I must be in a bed; well, everything was still blurry. However, I managed to see a bandage wrapped around my right leg. I attempted to move my leg only to groan from the pain it caused. I slowly turned my head and noticed I was indeed in a bed.
