Since that day, I hadn't seen Bentley for the next few days. I hadn't met Alicia again, either. So, I gradually forgot about this unhappy conversation and concentrated on my schoolwork.
At night, I was preparing my essay. Someone knocked on the door.
I went to open the door. It was Pedro.
I hadn't seen him for a couple of days. He seemed to be very busy and hadn't come to my room since the last time. I even thought he might be tired of me because I was not good enough. I thought of asking Sean about it. But on second thought, I decided it might not be a good idea.
After all, I was just Pedro's breeder. I wasn't even his girlfriend. Pedro was my master. I was supposed to be there if he wanted me and be quiet if he didn't need me.
