~Aspen’s pov~ Soft hands rub my back, and neck, trying to help my breathing. I’m grateful for it even though I can’t appreciate it. I tried to clear my lungs, they felt like they were on fire. I coughed, and Rylan whispered. His deep voice blocked out the screams that were filling my ears. I clutched my knees, begging my body to just get over it but I can’t.
