Belle is a talker, extraordinarily talented at holding up a separate conversation in between measurements, showing fabric choices, and suggesting changes to patterns. So it ends up that I learn a good deal more about not only Micah but the Tempests family overall.
I am looking forward to conveying my newfound knowledge on the way home … no not home. The estate is not my home, in spite of the fact that I feel extremely comfortable within its walls. It is just a temporary residence. None of its occupants will remain in my life, Micah won’t remain in my life. Eventually, he will become just a memory.
