5 Mary and I finished our filling and delicious lunch only to move onto the back porch and enjoy our drinks over a pipe. She did not usually partake in tobacco, but I could tell that she wished to enjoy the things that I would on a day such as this. We both discussed many things from our past as well as how fortunate we had been to have a home. The wind had begun to howl through the alleys in the buildings and homes around us, but it seemed to build and then die again before becoming any serious gust. Mary and I, however, were in complete comfort as we discussed our day and the associated perspectives.
