It’s A Girl
The Lost City was very quiet. Not a sound could be heard, unless you could hear thoughts. Even the colors that had once appeared from all of Andee’s hard work had begun to fade. The city was returning to a grey color, as before. There wasn’t much sign of life, and the Wise White Dolphin was nowhere to be seen, either. It was indeed a lost city.
Meanwhile, across in the Antarctic where it was forty-degrees below freezing, the ice was as much as eight feet deep in places. Polar bear cubs were play-fighting in the snow. They were only recently born and were a feisty bunch! They rolled around on ice islands, scratching and biting without a care in the world as their mother looked on with the sun shining in her eyes.
